I included my
name in my portfolio with flowers. I thought it was creative and different
because not many people use flowers to write their name. I made all the flowers
colorful with pastel and bright colors. I filled in the space of my portfolio
with a bright green to represent the grass, or a field. The other side of my
portfolio is a self-portrait of my face. Around my portrait, I have falling
flowers. All the bright colors are symbolizing the spring.
On a scale of 1
to 10, with ten being the highest, I would rank my overall craftsmanship on
this project a 9. This is because I put in a lot of work to complete the
assignment, and make it look decent. While I’m not good at drawing or coloring,
I think it doesn’t look so bad. Flowers were not the idea I had in mind, but it
seemed like one of my strongest things to draw.
What makes my
portfolio interesting and unique is that it is bright and colorful. It makes my
art look unique, but most importantly makes me feel happy and cheerful. Also,
on the back side of my portfolio is a self-portrait. Self portraits are hard to
draw, but I tried to pick my physical appearances that stick out the most. I
also made the front and back of my portfolio sync and tie in with each other.
